I was replacing an aged videx 4800 keypad module which decided to work when it wanted to . Before purchased it I phoned to check on compatibility of the newer model 4901. I was assured it was a straight swap. It was. I took the precaution of labelling all the wires ( there are lots). All went smoothly – power back on and reprogrammed the gate entry codes.
