- Fitted with the new E781S LC control board instead of the older 740D board. The benefits of the new control board:
- Use frequency greatly increased from 22 cycles/hr (740) & 30 cycles/hr (741) to 56 cycles/hr for both 740C & 741C. Thanks to the new encoder and power monitoring system, similar to the 844C.
- Lower consumption capability.
- It can use FDS remotes with the XF FDS Simply connect and BUS 2 Easy terminal
- Separate open and closing safety edge inputs, either normally closed or resistive contacts.
- Two programmable outputs and two 8k2 inputs – direct connection for safety edges.
- Hold to run function if an accessory fails

- The result is a smarter, more efficient operator that combines the proven reliability of the 740 and 741 with enhanced control, improved efficiency and an even better user experience.
Faac 741C Sliding Gate Motor Features
• Advanced Gearmotor: Built-in control unit with adjustable speed, safety edge inputs, FDS and Omnidec radio protocol, Bus2Easy technology.
• Integrated Low Consumption Functionality in Standby Mode: The control unit is designed with low power standby (LC) functionality, in compliance with the Ecodesign Directive2009/125/EC and EU Regulation 2023/826. The low-power mode can be easily enabled or disabled via the board’s menu. If enabled, itactivates automatically after a few minutes of inactivity, reducing standby power consumption (<0.5W, or 2W if connected to Simply Connect). This ensures energy efficiency, reduced operating costs and a positive environmental impact.
• High-Performance Motor Control: Features high-resolution encoder for smooth operation, force optimization, reduced consumption, and adjustable obstacle detection sensitivity.
• Modern Aesthetics: Timeless design with clean, distinctive lines, adaptable to any context.
